What does "light" mean?

For Light of His Grace, Light represents God's presence, truth, goodness and the hope found through Jesus Christ.

The Bible frequently uses light as an image for God's truth and for Jesus.

Jesus said:

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”
— John 8:12

At Light of His Grace, light represents the hope, truth and goodness found in God and revealed through Jesus Christ.

Light is not something we create within ourselves, nor is it a spiritual energy. It reminds us to turn our hearts toward God, seek His truth and trust in His guidance.

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world.” — John 8:12

Our hope is to share encouragement, Scripture, prayer and reminders of God's love with those who visit our little corner of the world.

Whether you are beginning your journey of faith, seeking answers, walking through a difficult season, or simply wanting to grow closer to God, you are welcome here.

May we always look toward the Light, walk in His truth, and remember that even in the darkest seasons, God has not forgotten us.

Grace

 

Receiving what we could never earn.

In Christianity, grace describes God's undeserved favour and kindness toward humanity. It is not something we earn through being perfect or good enough. The New Testament connects God's grace especially with salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.

Paul writes:

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”
— Ephesians 2:8

Grace represents the hope of forgiveness, the comfort of God's love and the opportunity for a new beginning.

Life can take us through difficult places. We can make mistakes, lose our way, question our purpose and wonder whether we are worthy of God's love.

Grace reminds us to turn toward Him.

You do not have to have every answer before you begin. You can simply take the first step, seek God, open your heart and learn.

Our hope is to create a space where faith, encouragement, prayer and God's Word can be shared with warmth and sincerity.

May we remember that we are never beyond God's reach, never too broken to turn toward Him, and never without the hope of His grace.

Every crystal, mineral and fossil carries a story of the natural world.

Formed through time, pressure, heat, water and the incredible processes of creation, these treasures remind us just how extraordinary the world around us is.

At the Light of His Grace — The Creator's Treasures, we choose to appreciate these beautiful pieces not because they possess supernatural power, but because they are part of the wonderful creation God has given us to discover and enjoy.

Each piece is unique. No two are exactly alike.

Their colours, patterns, formations and imperfections are different, just as every person God created is wonderfully unique.

When you hold one of these treasures, perhaps let it become a simple reminder:

Look at what the Creator has made.

Take a moment to slow down, notice the details and give thanks for the beauty around you. Remember that creation points us toward the One who created it.

Our crystals and natural treasures and are not substitutes for prayer, Scripture, medical treatment or professional care.

They are simply beautiful pieces of creation that can be collected, displayed, gifted and appreciated.

Every treasure is different. Every formation has a story. Every piece reflects the beauty of creation.

Created by His hand. Treasured by His grace.

Hello beautiful people, Ivy here. I’d love to share a little of my journey and the heart behind my decision to reframe my business. 

A New Beginning

Light of His Grace — The Creator's Treasures represents a new chapter in my journey.

My business originally began through my interest in Reiki, energy healing and crystals. As my faith in Jesus Christ has grown, so has my understanding of the direction I want my life and business to take.

Today, I am choosing to place God at the center of what I create and share.

The business is no longer centered around energy healing. Instead, it is centered around faith, prayer, encouragement, Scripture and appreciation for the beauty of God's creation.

This is not simply a change of name.

It is a new beginning.

A beginning founded on faith, grace and a desire to honour the Creator.

Frequently Asked Questions - God, Jesus and Faith

Who is God?

The Bible presents God as the Creator of heaven and earth and the source of life. Christianity teaches that there is one God who is revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Bible describes God's character through qualities including love, holiness, mercy, justice, faithfulness and grace.

The Bible says:

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
— Genesis 1:1

And:

“God is love.”
— 1 John 4:8

Who is Jesus?

Jesus Christ is presented in the New Testament as the Son of God, the Messiah and the Saviour of the world. Christian belief holds that Jesus came into the world, lived among humanity, taught about God's kingdom, died by crucifixion and was raised from the dead.

The Gospel of John describes Jesus as the Word who was with God and was God, and who became flesh.

The Bible says:

“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.”
— John 1:14

Jesus also said:

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
— John 14:6

Why did God send Jesus?

According to the Gospel of John, God sent Jesus because of His love for the world and so that people could receive salvation and eternal life through believing in Him.

Jesus' mission is described not as condemnation, but as salvation.

The Bible says:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
— John 3:16

The following verse continues:

“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
— John 3:17

What does it mean to have faith in Jesus?

In the New Testament, faith involves trusting in Jesus Christ and believing in Him. Christian faith is not simply knowing about Jesus; it involves turning toward God and placing one's trust in Him.

The Bible repeatedly connects faith in Jesus with salvation.

The Bible says:

“Everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”
— John 3:15

And:

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
— Romans 10:9

How can I begin a relationship with God?

The Bible invites people to seek God, turn toward Him, believe in Jesus and come to Him through prayer.

You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin.

You can simply speak honestly to God, thank Him, ask for forgiveness, ask for guidance, tell Him what is on your heart, and seek to know Him through Scripture.

Jesus said:

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
— Matthew 7:7

And James writes:

“Come near to God and he will come near to you”
— James 4:8

Your journey of faith does not have to begin with having every answer. Sometimes it begins with simply asking the question:

“God, are You there? Help me to know You”
